Heisman Scholarship Rules

- Heisman High school scholarship will be awarded to state winners, national winners and national finalists
- Winners of Heisman Scholarship must plan for full time enrollment of a minimum of 12 hours per quarter/semester
- Heisman Scholarship funds may only be used for educational expenses such as books, tuition and fees
- The scholarship is not restricted to any US institution. Winners of the Heisman Scholarship are free to attend any accredited institution on the United States
- The Heisman Scholarship award stipend will be paid in a single instalment for a full academic year.
- If a recipient choose to delay schooling in favor of military service, the funds may be deferred for educational use at a later time
- If a Heisman scholarship recipient does not enroll at the appropriate year, the unused funds get forfeited, though exceptions for some individual with cases that stems from hardship, illness, family tragedy and so on may be considered.
